Education Partnerships enable businesses and private donors the opportunity to directly support a young person throughout their education life. Individuals and organisations can provide direct assistance to clients to continue their schooling by becoming an Education Partner to a young person. The Partnership covers the basic costs of education and living such as fees, books, living expenses, internet access, public transport tickets etc.
Partnerships are based on three levels:
Premier $6,000
Level A $4,000
Level B $2,000
Through this Partnership Program, sponsors are able to assist a young person throughout their education life with many of our sponsors still supporting a young person into university. Sponsors receive regular updates on their student’s progress and are able to meet with their Outreach worker to gain feedback as to how their support is changing a young person’s life.
The City of Frankston has a new community outreach program to combat the rise in youth homelessness, crime and alcohol and drug related abuse for troubled youth in the region. A development committee made up of concerned local business owners approached Open Family Australia in 2008 to establish the program to assist at-risk and homeless youth aged 12-25 in Frankston.
