Leave a Bequest
Leaving a bequest to Open Family Australia can help a future generation of Australians.
Making a will is an important thing to do - it gives you the opportunity to safeguard what is important to you and how you want your assets to be managed.
You can give a young person living on the street a chance for a better life by remembering us in your will. This generous gesture can help us provide on going support, services and programs to disadvantaged youth in communities throughout Australia. Your legacy will help Open Family provide the intervention and thereby break the cycle of homelessness and/or at risk behaviours.
There are several ways to do this:
- Gift the residue of your estate, once you have provided for your family. This is called a residual bequest.
- Gift a percentage of your assets.
- Gift a lump sum.
We recommend that you consider a residual bequest as it will always remain proportionate to the value of your estate. This means that your bequest will be able to make the difference that you intended it to.
